About the Product

Based on the original sculpt from 2011, this new release features different colors and details from the original statue.

Mayoi has never looked better in her school outfit and long, flowing pigtails.

Mayoi carries a backpack decorated to resemble a pink bird.

A Kotobukiya Japanese import! From the smash hit anime series Bakemonogatari comes a new version of the previously released ghost girl as Mayoi Hatikuji –V2 Colorway–! Forever trying to complete her journey to her mother’s house, the young girl met up with Koyomi and eventually reached her destination. Always on the move, Mayoi trudges along determinedly, clutching the straps to her plush animal-inspired overstuffed backpack. While the sculpt is the same as the 2011 version, the updated version wears the same school girl outfit in different colors! She has a white short-sleeved shirt, pink bowtie, high white socks with pink shoes, and a new navy blue suspendered skirt. Mayoi has lots of unique details including a bandage on her knee, embroidered cherries on her skirt, a bracelet, headband, and leafy hair decorations! While her whole body is in motion, the ghost girl stares straight ahead toward her destination, a slight smile on her lips. Sculpted by Koei Matsumoto, Mayoi stands nearly 7 inches tall (1/8th scale) atop a specially designed display base and is constructed of high-quality pvc plastic.
